It all starts with choosing the right wood and finishing it to perfection. American Black Cherry's warm tones and intricate, swirling grain patterns blend well with today's trending earth-tone color palette and offers an organic contrast to grays and neutrals. A light pinkish-brown when freshly cut, the color deepens to a rich medium-brown with time and exposure to light. Its tight grain provides a naturally even texture and luster, and commonly showcases additional character with its naturally-occurring pitch pockets.

We hand select this kiln-dried Cherry lumber and custom arrange it to create a beautiful and elegant countertop that will be a perfect centerpiece to show off in your kitchen.

Our End Grain products are crafted in an offset pattern to facilitate the structural integrity of each piece (as opposed to a checkerboard pattern). 

Because all of our products are made to order, you can choose between a variety of food-safe and food-grade finish options to suit your intended use.

A real work of art!

We are totally in love with our island top in end-grain cherry. It is an incredible keystone to our kitchen. There is no granite that would have the same elegance and warmth of this top. Despite excellent packing, UPS managed to break our top in half - which must have been no small feat. It was insured and we got an immediate call from Mr. Armani to let us know we could return it for repair or replacement. I am a long time woodworker, so I opted to glue and clamp it - with instruction from Armani - and the joint can't be found. Armani is superior in craftsmanship and gets 5 stars for outstanding business practice and customer care. There simply can't be a better butcher block at a better price. I shopped a lot, and our top is really exquisite.
