It all starts with choosing the right wood and finishing it to perfection. Our Calico Hickory pieces are crafted with boards hand-selected for their contrasting blend of warm, medium-brown heartwood and pale blond sapwood, arranged together to accentuate the earthy beauty of this species. Hickory is a member of the pecan family, and ranks among the hardest species native to North America. It is becoming a popular flooring choice for those who are looking for a unique, modern space.

Our process:
We hand select this kiln-dried Hickory lumber and custom arrange it to create a beautiful and elegant countertop that will be a perfect centerpiece to show off in your kitchen.
Our End Grain products are crafted in an offset pattern to facilitate the structural integrity of each piece (as opposed to a checkerboard pattern).
Because all of our products are made to order, you can choose between a variety of food-safe and food-grade finish options to suit your intended use.
Please feel welcome to reach out to one of our staff members with any project drawings or templates and we would be happy to provide a tailored quote for installation-ready pieces.
Have additional questions? Our Sitemap contains a variety of pages dedicated to teach you everything you need to know about care, installation, maintenance, quotes, shipping and more.
*Please Note: Due to the natural characteristics of hardwoods, including grain, texture, and color, we cannot guarantee an exact match to samples or online photos. Slight variations in color are normal and add depth and character to the product. Other factors such as age and exposure to light can further alter the appearance of the piece.
We highly recommend ordering a sample of your preferred species and finish as the final tone of the wood will differ across finish options.
