It all starts with choosing the right wood and finishing it to perfection. Ranging from light- to medium-brown, with rosy undertones and a distinctive and prominent wide-grain pattern, Red Oak is one of the most widely used types of hardwood on the market, and one of the most cost-effective. It is known for its stability and capacity to absorb stains well, and often showcases its Medullary Ray pattern. Fun fact: Red Oak is said to have pores so large and open that a person can blow into one end of the wood and air will come out the other end, provided the grain runs straight enough.

Our process:
We hand select this kiln-dried Red Oak lumber and custom arrange it to create a beautiful and elegant product to be used in dining or office settings.
All of our tabletops are made from full length strips of hardwood, which show off the wood’s beautiful continuous grain throughout the length of the top, and don’t rely on short pieces or blended style tops.
Because all of our products are made to order, you can choose between a variety of food-safe and food-grade finish options to suit your intended use.
Please feel welcome to reach out to one of our staff members with any project drawings or templates and we would be happy to provide a tailored quote for installation-ready pieces.

*Please Note: Due to the natural characteristics of hardwoods, including grain, texture, and color, we cannot guarantee an exact match to samples or online photos. Slight variations in color are normal and add depth and character to the product. Other factors such as age and exposure to light can further alter the appearance of the piece.
We highly recommend ordering a sample of your preferred species and finish as the final tone of the wood will differ across finish options.
